<p>Neal Adams (1941 to 2022) drew some of the best-known comics of the 1960s and 1970s. With writer Dennis O'Neil he brought Batman back to the dark detective of his first stories and drew Green Lantern/Green Arrow, and with Roy Thomas he drew X-Men for Marvel. He also fought for the credit and pay of comic creators, Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster among them.</p><p>Adams drew the Mammoth Comics limited edition variant cover of Doctor Strange (2015) No. 1, and he visited the store.</p>

<p>Michael Golden drew Micronauts for Marvel with writer Bill Mantlo and the first issues of The 'Nam with writer Doug Murray. With Chris Claremont he created Rogue, who first appeared in Avengers Annual No. 10 in 1981, and with Larry Hama he created Bucky O'Hare.</p><p>Golden visited Mammoth Comics, and the store photo of that visit is in its gallery.</p>
