Our story
Owner Shawn Mears opened Mammoth Comics in October 2001 in his hometown of Tulsa.
The store grew into a shop with the best comic wall in the state. New comics from Marvel, DC Comics, Image, Dark Horse Comics, IDW, Dynamite and Zenescope share the floor with back issues from the Golden Age, Silver Age and Modern Age, graded books, toys, action figures, statues and superhero knick-knacks.
New customers sign up for a monthly subscription with no minimum, and every book comes bagged and boarded. The store also mails comic books each month to readers who want them mailed.
